Stephen Caffyn Landscape Design Pte Ltd (SCLD) is an award winning Landscape Architectural Consultancy based in Singapore with projects around the region. SCLD provides a full range of Landscape Architecture and Landscape Design Consultancy services and has undertaken projects throughout Asia. Current and recent projects include, large scale masterplanning projects; hotels, spa’s and resorts; commercial and residential developments; parks and recreational facilities; environmental projects, as well as garden design, green walls and roof gardens.
Latest Awards
Our SkyParc@Dawson project has been Winning Awards since it was completed.
SkyParc@Dawson was the Design Excellence Award WInner (Housing) at the HDB Design Awards 2021 and the project was praised for blending ‘high-rise living with greenery and biodiversity’. SCLD designed the eco-corridor on the old expunged Margaret Drive alignment in order to retain the mature existing street trees and create a shared landscape space with a generous pedestrian path and biodiversity features such as swales, insect hotels, and nest boxes.
In January 2022 SkyParc@Dawson also won a Merit Award at the Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) Architectural Awards 2021.
The project also received an Honourable Mention at the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) AAPME Awards 2021 and has in the past been awarded Outstanding Project under the Landscape Excellence Assessment Framework (LEAF) 2017 and Green Mark Gold Plus in 2018.
Current Projects
What are we working on right now?
We can't show you much right now since these projects are ongoing, however work is completing on Sisters Islands Marine Park, Singapore’s first and only Marine Park; we have just started on Khatib Bongsu Nature Park; design is progressing on Teacher’s Estate Park; and we are about to go out to tender for the construction contract on multiple small parks; Package 1 of the Bishan to City cycling route connections is completed and Package 2, which includes a 682m long cycling and pedestrian bridge over the PIE, is soon to start on site.
We also have multiple interesting HDB Housing Projects that are in various stages of Construction.

The Learning Forest was recently Awarded the Platinum LEAF (Landscape Excellence Assessment Framework) Certification.
The LEAF is a Certification scheme that that celebrates and encourages good landscape design, construction and management of development and park projects. It recognizes ecological, social, and climatic resilience and encourages sustainability in Singapore’s urban landscape and acknowledges best practices in Landscape Design and Management.
